In-Person: Right Aligned Live, Leeds, Creative Networking
If you are a designer networking can be a real turn–off because it has traditionally been associated with the corporate world of business. Early morning meetings surrounded by salesmen looking for commission is something most people prefer to ignore but deep down all of us know that a solid network is a great way to find new opportunities.
Instead of following past traditions we are on a mission to build a new concept, one that puts the needs of the design community first. We will be bringing together people including freelancers and founders, helping them find new opportunities, hear success stories and a grow a support network for future wins!
Panel
Included in this event is a panel conversation with three local professionals working across diverse disciplines. We will be exploring industry challenges, regional difficulties and how they remain positive during tumultuous times.
Simon Forster, Founder of RobotFood
Simon is a strategic design partner who sees what’s missing, says what others won’t, and helps deliver work that actually moves the needle. His philosophy, and the guiding principle RobotFood, is Challenge by Design, drawing on an entrepreneurial mindset to disrupt categories for distinctive brands and bold commercial outcomes.
Eve MacDonald, Creative Growth Strategist at KISS
Eve is a multimedia creative with a strong foundation in fine art and diverse technical expertise, and a driving obsession with culture, creative, and strategy. She loves crafting stories, and curating brands via her work at Leeds brand agency, KISS.
Taaryn Brench, Graphic Designer & Illustrator

That’s why Taaryn Brench starts all projects with the strategy work, where she will deep dive on getting to know your brand, your audience, your goals for the project, and establishing exactly how she can help you achieve that.
